Procures and establishes clinical sites for student clinical rotations for Associate and Bachelor degree programs.
Acts as a liaison between the clinical education sites and the program maintaining open lines of communication with the entity department leaders, communities of interest, and program director.Liaison with clinical preceptors. Advocates for students within health systems.
Assesses clinical competency of Neurodiagnostic Technology students
Assists Program Chair with student clinical education record keeping
Provide online classroom and laboratory instruction in Neurodiagnostic technology courses and/or supervise students in NDT clinical courses, including: grading and evaluation of student performance, course assessment, and revision of curriculum with goal of ensuring competent entry-level practitioners.
Cooperates with the program faculty in periodic review/assessment, and revision of clinical course materials as needed
Assists with administering the Neurodiagnostic Technology program rules, regulations, and policies in compliance with current Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) Standards.
Under the administrative direction of the Academic Dean and/or general direction of the Program Chair
Five (5) years of related work experience and/or clinical experience as a neurodiagnostic technologist.
ABRET registration in EEG required, CLTM a definite plus, additional NDT credentials helpful
