Overview and Responsibilities

                                                            Excellent Opportunity for RN in Quality Review


The Performance Improvement Coordinator works in the Quality Review Office compiling and organizing data to provide to the Women’s Nursing/Physician Leadership and Regulatory Agencies to help improve the quality of care to our maternal, neonatal and pediatric patient populations. In addition, the coordinator participates in national and regional initiatives to decrease maternal morbidity and mortality and improve health care disparities in our community.


Job Responsibilities

 Coordinates, implements and evaluates hospital and medical staff performance improvement activities. Coordinates, implements and evaluates clinical quality initiatives for external comparative benchmarking. Coordinates and facilitates the accreditation and regulatory compliance processes (CMS, JCAHO) Communicates effectively with physicians, staff, external entities. Educates hospital staff and physicians regarding Performance Improvement tools and techniques. Completes assigned goals.





 Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired


 Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired
  RN, RHIA, RHIT or related healthcare professional with three years clinical experience and/or three years in quality management or accreditation preparation. Five years experience in clinical practice; Five years experience in quality management or accreditation preparation.
