Provide the learning activities and support that will lead to the achievement of the course objectives in Chemistry courses in support of the mission and goals of Baptist Health Sciences University. Primary responsibilities are to plan, develop and teach Chemistry lectures and lab, assessment of educational outcomes to evaluate student performance, to ensure competent entry-level practitioners. Demonstrate a commitment to diversity; the ability to appreciate alternative viewpoints; and the skill to work effectively with a wide variety of people, fostering collaborative learning.
Under the administrative direction of the Chair of Biomedical Sciences.
Master’s Degree in Chemistry; or Master’s Degree with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate semester hours in Chemistry or Biochemistry; Doctorate preferred.
Evidence of potential ability to use effective strategies to engage students in their learning.
