  • Overview and Responsibilities

    Purpose of Position and Scope of Responsibility: Administratively responsible for oversight of the College’s enrollment management and student affairs through directing and coordinating the responsibilities of the deans/directors of admissions, student records, financial aid, student affairs, and with input from other related services. Reports to the President and directs oversight for planning and implementation of goals, objectives and strategies related to Enrollment Management and Student Affairs as well as insuring those goals, objectives and strategies are reflective of the vision and mission of Baptist College. Responsible for department 8 hours/day, 5 days/week and 24/7 for resolving issues which may occur at any time during the week.   Incumbents are subject to hours beyond the normal workday.

     

    The person in this position will serve as a Campus Security Authority (CSA). A CSA has significant responsibility for student and campus activities and is designated as an individual to whom students and employees should report criminal offenses.  It is the responsibility of the CSA to report to the Security Office all allegations of crimes.

    Qualifications

    Mimimum Qualifications

    Master’s Degree in higher education, student affairs or related area; 

    Demonstrated effective leadership with four (4) years progressive leadership experience in enrollment management and/or student affairs; 

    Demonstrated knowledge of strategic planning and best practices in enrollment management and/or student affairs; 

    Knowledge of relevant federal, state and accreditation regulations and compliance in higher education; 

    Experience in applications of technology related to enrollment management and/or student affairs;

     

    Experience with research and use of data.

     

    Desired qualifications:

    Doctoral Degree in higher education, student affairs or related area; demonstrated effective leadership with ten (10 ) years of progressive leadership experience in enrollment management and student affairs with record of achievement and advancement in the field; deomonstrated knowledge of strategic planning and best practices in enrolment management, knowledge of relevant federal, state and accreditation regulations and compliance in higher education; experience in applications of technology related to enrollment management and/or student affairs; and demonstrated knowledge and experience with research and use of data.
